As part of the Quick Takes 44-hour short film competition, hosted by the Newcastle Comedy Club to close out the Newcastle Comedy Festival, our team of three had just under two days to write, shoot, and edit a film based on a set of specific prompts.

We created a comedic short about a 500-year-old dead pirate cursed to walk the earth for eternity, unless he can find either a treasure chest at the bottom of the ocean or fulfilment in his professional life. After being kicked out by the couple he regularly haunts, the pirate sets sail to discover a new career path.
